ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH

I work with both men and women helping to gain a better understanding of themselves in order to develop a better relationship with themselves and others.

I provide a non-judgemental space to talk about whatever troubles you are experiencing that are disrupting your life and impacting your emotional well-being.

My aim is to help you to get more in touch with your emotional world and help identify old patterns of behaviour that may not be working for you anymore. By changing behaviour patterns that may be contributing to your mental wellbeing we can work together to deepen self-awareness and self-understanding, encouraging personal growth and self-acceptance.

Together we can reflect and process thoughts and feelings, working together to find a way of acknowledging and understanding them, so that you may find it possible to find an alternative way of being, alleviating stress, anxiety, or feelings of sadness.

I have an integrated approach to my therapeutic work which means I take influence from different models, using what I feel is appropriate to suit each individual clients needs.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (PGDip)

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)  and as such abide by their strict ethical framework for good practice in counselling,

I meet regularly with a clinical supervisor to review and support my work. I have professional insurance to practice.
